Oops! Sorry I forgot to send this!

(I guess I never sent this. Sorry!)

YOU FINALLY PAINTED! O I am so happy about that! I feel right at home here in the library (McAllen, the "new" one) with all sorts of different colored walls, so I love that you painted too!

Can you do me a favor and get me some stickers that I can give to little kids at church? I have seen some at Dicks or whatever that have CTR or a temple or something churchy? I just want them so I can give them something at church. You know how kids are.

As far as transfers go, they are next Tuesday and because Sister Bricker is going home, I am like 99% guaranteed to stay in my area. That and we had interviews with President this week and he asked me if I was ready to take over the area. So yes, I will be staying here. There is a new program where you are trained for 12 weeks so I am pretty sure we are all staying where we are and that I am getting a new trainer. We will just have to see who it is!

I am sad to say that my body has adjusted to the Texas weather because it has been in the 60s this week and I have been FREEZING! I am a disgrace, yo se.

I just wanted to inform you that in every picture I have seen of Annie since I have left, she is wearing my clothes! I have my eye on you little missy! (And yes, I did get your letter and I am writing you back today). And no mom, I haven't gotten a package from you in awhile, maybe the ZLs will bring it to me today.

Dad keeps talking about going on a cruise once I am done with my mission. I just want to inform you that I will not be released from being a missionary so that cruise would not be super fun. Just saying. And if you wanted to go on a cruise AND see my mission, that would be like at least a week and a fast, so I am still trying to decide what to do with that. I will probably end up doing whatever Sister Holmes does because her family wants to go on a cruise too. We would be down with going together. :) She is so great, you will love her. And speaking of which, we want you and her parents to go to dinner or something sometime. I was going to email you their information, but she didn't come over before we left this morning. Because of this, I will just write it in a letter to you.

And Brooke and Tyler could have their reception at the Eaglewood Clubhouse. That would be cool.

This week has been so great! It has been amazing to see how the Lord truly has a hand in the work. Last night for instance we were on our way to a less active member's house when we got out of the car and Sister Bricker said I don't think we should be here and I said okay so we got back in the car and didn't know where we were going so I said okay turn right and we just tried to think of people in the area and we decided to go to Sister P_____'s house because she was right there and she was actually outside of her house when we got there. She was unloading stuff from her car from a trip up to San Antonio for one of her college friend's funeral. She was having a hard time and she was amazed that we came at that exact time. I told her that we were just as surprised! It wasn't us at all that decided to visit her. It was what the Lord needed us to do. It just strengthens my testimony that while I am out here, accomplishing my daily/weekly goals (numbers) is important, but it is more important to throw the goals to the wind when there is someone who needs us. It is exactly what the Lord would do if He were here.

We also had an experience with a new investigator last Tuesday who has been kind of interested in the church but she has a little trouble with the Book of Mormon. She said if it wasn't for that book, she would join the church and that she just would get a headache whenever she thought about the book and after the lesson was wrapping up I was feeling bold (The Spirit) and said have you ever thought that maybe Satan is trying to get you not to read that book. Maybe he knows that this is the right path for you and is trying to stop you? She COMPLETELY changed right after that. It was as if a light bulb went off in her head. She knew we were right and ever since she has just been a rockstar and when we asked her to be baptized on 2/12/12, she more or less said, well duh! It was awesome! The church is exactly what she needs. It is so great!

Well, I love you all! This week is going to be great! It is Sister Bricker's last week so she has to leave it with a bang! Wish me luck!

Kate
