A lot of people have been kind of surprised by my decision to go on a mission. Not surprised that I am going, more surprised that I decided so suddenly. I think that if everyone knew the inner-thoughts of my brain, they would know that is wasn't a sudden decision at all.
On July 3rd, 2010, I told some of my friends (shout out to 72 and 82) that I wanted to serve a mission. Ever since that day, it has kind of been at the back of my mind, but I had my life to live, so it was never really in the forefront. After much thought and prayer, I knew that I had to let a few other things play out in my life before I could go.
Now that I have let those things play out, I know that the right thing for me right now is to serve a mission!
Let me tell you: I. Am. Pumped! Seriously! Best decision ever! This whole thing has taught me so much about putting my life in the hands of the Lord, and being a tool for Him to use. What a great lesson to learn now!
