The Waiting Game

I dislike this game. My papers have been in for a mere nine days, and I am already anxiously awaiting that big white envelope that decides my future.

It is amazing how I have had to learn the lesson of patience quite a lot lately. I think I have it down, then another thing happens in my life, and it is like I never learned how to be patient in the first place.

Waiting for my call has definitely taught me to trust in the Lord though. Giving an adolescent about three weeks to ponder where they are going for the next year and a half is slightly cruel, but really, it just reaffirms to me that the Lord knows us all individually and he knows exactly what we need. I know that wherever I get called is exactly where I'm suppose to be.
